At Monachopsis Films, we are passionate about telling unique stories through the art of indie filmmaking. Our founder, Elynn Starkey, is a young film writer/director, who loves everything film, and so brings all she has to her films!

Short Films

Our short films are typically made in a very short amount of time, which is why we can have multiple projects running at once.

Script Writing

As well as producing films, we also offer  script writing services, whether that's drafting a short script with your prompt, or proofreading your script. You can also send us a script, and we can bring it to life (with your full permission and credit)!

Merchandise

We have a Redbubble shop, which sells designs inspired by our films! You can get these designs on many items, from t-shirts, hoodies, hats and stickers, to notebooks, clocks and even costers.

E. Lynn Starkey is our primary scriptwriter, though we are looking to expand our team of writers. (Email us!)

Who funds these projects?

Currently our projects are zero budget or micro budget, and are simply funded by the cast and crew, if necessary- though we do try to keep money spending at a minimum.

How experienced are the crew?

At Monachopsis Films, we aim to recruit people who are not hugely experienced in this industry, as we want to give opportunities to people who don't know where or how to start.
